Stylescape

    Stylescape

    Project Brief:

    This assignment is the first of an in-depth project. Student will create a fictional company and design a logo and produce a stylescape for branding and marketing purposes. The company may be a personal business (freelance, hobby) or something of interest to you. The stylescape will include: logo, colors, fonts, photographs, pattern/texture, and a minimum of two marketing pieces with logo (mug, menu, t-shirt, package design, store sign, etc.).


    Learning Objectives: 

    1. Review the parts of the design process and distinguish a hierarchy of importance (logo and branding)
    2. Outline the benefits and downfalls of using a stylescape
    3. Design a logo and stylescape – a visual representation for a brand and a springboard for later projects


    Deliverables:

    1. An InDesign file
    2. A PDF for presentation purposes
